Architecture Pathway
As a practice we take our projects carefully through all of the RIBA stages often beginning a project from Stage 0: Strategic Definition. Here we can help you define your project goals, sustainability goals and budget expectations.
Before running his own sustainable architecture company, Ben Nother has worked on large scale projects in previous practices, including planning applications for larger housing developments and large student accommodation projects within Bristol.

Do you have an idea or a fully thought out scheme for your project? Hawkland will work with you to develop and refine the brief, highlighting environmental and ecological considerations for the build as well as the feasibility of the proposals.

Using the brief, concept options can be explored and developed, producing visualisations of a range of developments. These can be refined to find a finalised design to move forward with.

Taking a project through planning can be difficult, and we can advise on the planning process. Hawkland can offer support or submit the planning application on your behalf ensuring all of the required information has been produced.

Hawkland can develop the technical design drawings ready for a building regulations submission, and we work with a number of approved inspectors and councils to ensure the design complies. This level of information can be used for discussions with contractors or our in-house build team to produce construction quotations.

Construction drawings, and detailed manufacturing information is required for the accurate construction of the building. We discuss the type, and methods of construction with Contractors and our in-house build team to ensure the build runs smoothly.
